200th Anniversary of Lafayette in Alabama

• Remember studying Marquis de Lafayette in 4th graded when he toured Alabama 200 years ago? The 200th anniversary will be celebrated with events all weekend. In Montgomery, Lafayette day is hosted at Old Alabama Town Friday at 9AM.

Cloverdale Idlewild Spring Concert Series

• The annual popular Cloverdale Spring Concert Series is back starting Sunday afternoon. The concert series runs till May 25. Local bands will play every Sunday in the Bottom Park in Cloverdale-Idlewild. We will see yall there!

MGM Biscuits Season Opening Weekend

• Biscuits baseball is back! The Biscuits have a huge opening weekend planned with a block party Friday night leading into first pitch. Local vendors and live music will happen on Tallapoosa Street outside the gate.

• Saturday, the autism crawfish boil fundraiser will happen before first pitch. On Sunday, it’s Bluey at the Ballpark so bring the family! Go HERE for all details

The Grove MGM & MGM Runs 5K

• Our friends at The Grove MGM, a non profit restoring a home for aging out foster girls in Downtown, is partnering with MGM Runs for a 5K run fundraiser. The run will be April 26 and run through downtown.
